A Date with God.

In Your Presence is where I want to be🎁💝

Imagine if God was to invite you at His Dinner table to have with Him a meal? .Would you use all your time of preparation thinking, Oh my! What is the elegance that should wear me to the King’s of Kings invite. Am sure myself I would sweat drops so heavy off my imaginations and expectations. The thought of meeting His presence shakes my Brain with a Body full of fear and anxiety. Huh! Lets not make this about me. ‘Remember we are all trying to figure out the mystery behide coming one on one with our Creator, saviour and Redeemer. Amazingly He says: please come to me as you and I’ll give you rest.

Let’s for an hour assume you were able to go through all that hustle and finally here you are; at His presence, face to face.

(After a warm Hug of embrace) My Child? Welcome Home. Please! Have a sit and feel in your Father’s house. Ah! How I have missed, so much to dine with You like this. Here are all your favourites well-prepared-recipe meals. Feel free to taste and serve yourself with as much of any food as it pleases you .

It’s easy to think that for nomal dates. Someone should ask you how you’ve been? Comment about the looks and what a view. Even somehow try to connect and relate your life happening, expectations and experiences with theirs over a conversation. They would ask you to order your favourite meal as the conversations takes direction. They wouldn’t assume How you’ve been or What makes your favourite meal. Haha! Isn’t these two what makes most Dates? ‘Food and Conversation or Conversation and Food’ whichever comes first or whether they go together. That’s What most people would call a Date.

Our God is the Creator, Owner and Manager of our Being. Take for example: a mother and a child. A mother that carries a child in her womb for almost an year, brings it to this world after delivery. Takes care of it; bathing, clothing and feeding it until the child can be of age. With that picture in mind. Imagine a Maker and Care taker; How much more does He do for this His Creation?. Let’s go back! A sec, this mother then would know so much about Her child; its feelings, wants and behaviour mostly. Even before the child can begin to speak and express its feelings and wants . In the same way. How best does Our God know us, His children who He created and Looks after?. He doesn’t need to ask anything about us for He already knows us; our wants and our way of life. He’s all knowing (Omniscient).

How far is Our date?

Then you’re done sating your appetite as He watched over you with a shimmering smile. Let’s see! How hard or easy this conversation with the ALMIGHTY GOD can be. “Thank you father for my stomach is full.” I feel like this is the first phrase to clearing the air. Remember this is the Everlasting Father that gives life, strength and courage more so sustains us with His protection, provision and His unending works of Mercy and Grace. But the fear; ‘fear of God’ isn’t going away.

Holding your hands softly with a glitter in His eyes. He say, “My Child? Do not be Afraid, for I the Lord your God says: Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
